CCEFIRE® DEM Series Mullite bricks characterized with high refractoriness that can reach more than 1790C. Load softening temperature is between 1600 ~ 1700℃. Compressive strength at normal temperature is 70 ~ 260MPa. Good thermal shock resistance.
Strict control of raw materials
Control impurity content, ensure low thermal shrinkage, and improve heat resistance
1. Own large-scale ore base, professional mining equipment, and stricter selection of raw materials.
2. The incoming raw materials are tested first, and then the qualified raw materials are kept in a designated raw material warehouse to ensure their purity.
Production process control
Reduce the content of slag balls, ensure low thermal conductivity, and improve thermal insulation performance
1. There are sintered mullite and fused mullite brick.
2. The main raw material of sintered mullite brick is high bauxite clinker by adding a small amount of clay or raw bauxite as binder made through molding and sintering.
3. The main raw material of fused mullite brick is high bauxite, alumina and refractory clay, by adding charcoal or coke fines as a reducing agent. After molding using the reduction method to manufacture.
4. The crystallization of fused mullite is larger than sintered mullite and thermal shock resistance is better than sintered products.
5. The high temperature performance is mainly relying on the amount of alumina content and the distribution uniformity of mullite and glass.
Quality control
Ensure bulk density and improve thermal insulation performance
1. Each shipment has a dedicated quality inspector, and a test report is provided prior to the departure of products from the factory to ensure the export quality of each shipment of CCEFIRE.
2. A third-party inspection (such as SGS, BV, etc.) is accepted.
3. Production is strictly in accordance with ASTM quality management system certification.
4. The outer packaging of each carton is made of five layers of kraft paper, and outer packaging + pallet,, suitable for long-distance transportation.
CCEFIRE DEM Series Mullite Brick Characteristics:
There are sintered mullite and fused mullite brick. The main raw material of sintered mullite brick is high bauxite clinker by adding a small amount of clay or raw bauxite as binder made through molding and sintering. The main raw material of fused mullite brick is high bauxite, alumina and refractory clay, by adding charcoal or coke fines as a reducing agent. After molding using the reduction method to manufacture. The crystallization of fused mullite is larger than sintered mullite and thermal shock resistance is better than sintered products. The high temperature performance is mainly relying on the amount of alumina content and the distribution uniformity of mullite and glass.
CCEFIRE DEM Series Mullite Brick Application:
Mainly used for top of hot blast stove, the body of blast furnace and furnace bottom, glass furnace regenerator, sintering kiln, and petroleum cracking corner lining system.
The ideal composition and high purity of mullite brick make it available to apply in extreme conditions. Such applications are as follows:
Chemical industry,
The glass industry,
Incinerator: highly polluted by waste and gas.
