Insulating calcium silicate board is a new type of thermal insulation material made of diatomaceous earth, lime and reinforced inorganic fibers. Under high temperature and high pressure, hydrothermal reaction occurs, and calcium silicate board is made. Insulating calcium silicate board has the advantages of light weight, good thermal insulation performance, and convenient for installation. It is especially suitable for heat insulation and heat preservation of high temperature equipment of building materials and metallurgy.
Laying of insulating calcium silicate board
(1)When laying the insulating calcium silicate board on the shell, first process the insulating calcium silicate board into the required shape, and then apply a thin layer of cement on the calcium silicate and lay calcium silicate board. Then squeeze the board tightly by hand so that the insulating calcium silicate board is in close contact with the shell, andthe board should not be moved after it is laid.
(2) When thermal insulation bricks or other materials need to be laid on the insulating calcium silicate board , damage caused by knocking or extrusion should be avoided during construction.
(3) When castable need to be laid on the insulating calcium silicate board, a non-absorbent waterproof layer should be painted on the surface of the board in advance.
