Aluminum silicate refractory fiber has characteristics of high temperature resistance, good chemical stability and low thermal conductivity, which can shorten the furnace heating time, reduce furnace external wall temperature and furnace energy consumption.

(2)Chemical stability. The chemical stability of aluminum silicate refractory fiber mainly depends on its chemical composition and impurity content. The alkali content of this material is extremely low, so it hardly reacts with hot and cold water, and it is very stable in an oxidizing atmosphere.
(3)Density and thermal conductivity. Using different production processes, the density of aluminum silicate refractory fiber is quite different, generally in the range of 50~200kg/m3. The thermal conductivity is the main indicator to measure the performance of refractory insulation materials. Small thermal conductivity is one of the important reasons why the refractory and thermal insulation performance of aluminum silicate refractory fiber is better than other similar materials. In addition, its thermal conductivity, like other refractory insulation materials, is not constant, and is related to density and temperature.
