This issue we will continue to introduce use high temperature insulation board as shift converter’s lining and change external insulation to internal insulation. Below are the details:
3. Advantage of high temperature insulation board compared with dense refractory materials.
(4) Reduce thickness of external insulation.
Under certain circumstances, reasonable design of high temperature insulation board for internal lining can make high thickness external insulation unnecessary. In the blowing recovery combustion chamber of another project designed by the author, the external insulation has been completely cancelled, and the effect is very good.
(5) Reduce infrastructure investment.
Light equipment weight can reduce the amount of civil engineering and infrastructure investment
(6) Convenient for construction.
Since the unit volume weight of the high temperature insulation board structure is only about 1/10 of that of dense refractory materials, the labor intensity is greatly reduced, and the construction period is reduced by about 70% compared with refractory bricks or castables.
