Clay insulation bricks are refractory insulation material made from refractory clay as the main raw material. Its Al2O3 content is 30% -48%.
The common production process of clay insulation brick is the burning addition method with floating beads, or the foam process.
Clay insulation bricks are widely used in thermal equipment and industrial kilns, and can be used in areas where there is no strong erosion of high-temperature molten materials. Some surfaces that come into direct contact with flames are coated with a refractory coating to reduce erosion by slag and furnace gas dust, reduce damage. The working temperature of the brick should not exceed the test temperature of permanent linear change on reheating. Clay insulation bricks belong to a type of lightweight insulation material with multiple pores. This material has a porosity of 30% to 50%.
