When the hot blast furnace is working, the insulation ceramic board of the furnace lining is affected by the sharp change of temperature during the heat exchange process, the chemical erosion of dust brought by the blast furnace gas, the mechanical load, and the erosion of combustion gas. The main reasons for the damage of hot blast furnace lining are:
(3) Mechanical load. The hot blast stove is a high structure with a height of 35-50m. The maximum static load borne by the lower part of the checkered brick of the regenerative chamber is 0.8MPa, and the static load borne by the lower part of the combustion chamber is also high. Under the action of mechanical load and high temperature, the furnace wall brick body shrinks and cracks, which affects the service life of the hot air furnace.
(4) Pressure. The hot blast furnace conducts combustion and air supply periodically. It is in a low pressure state during combustion and a high pressure state during air supply. For the traditional large wall and vault structure, there is a large space between the vault and the furnace shell, and the filler layer set between the large wall and the furnace shell also leaves a certain space after shrinking and natural compaction under long-term high temperature. Due to the existence of these spaces, under the pressure of high pressure gas, the furnace body bears a large outward thrust, which is easy to cause masonry tilting, cracking and loosening. Then the space outside the masonry body periodically fills and depressurizes through the brick joints, thereby aggravating the damage to the masonry. The inclination and looseness of the masonry will naturally lead to the deformation and damage of the ceramic fiber board of the furnace lining, thus forming the complete damage of the furnace lining.
