This issue we will continue to introduce refractory fibre insulation materials used in furnace construction
(3) Chemical stability. Except for strong alkali and hydrofluoric acid, it is almost not corroded by any chemicals, steam, and oil. It does not interact with acids at room temperature, and it does not wet molten aluminum, copper, lead, etc. and their alloys at high temperatures.
(4) Thermal shock resistance. The refractory fibre is soft and elastic, and has good resistance to thermal shock, good resistance to rapid heat and rapid cooling. Don’t need to consider thermal stress in the design of refractory fibre lining.
In addition, the insulation and sound insulation properties of refractory fibre are also good. For sound waves of 30-300Hz, its sound insulation performance is better than commonly used sound insulation materials.
Next issue we will continue to introduce refractory fibre insulation materials used in furnace construction. Please stay tuned!
