Refractory insulation materials are widely used in various high-temperature applications, including metallurgy sintering furnace, heat treatment furnace, aluminum cell, ceramics, refractory materials, building materials firing kiln, electric furnaces of petrochemical industry , etc.
At present, there are siliceous lightweight thermal insulation materials, clay, high-alumina and corundum, which are applicable to various industrial furnaces.
For example, alumina hollow ball brick is mainly used as the lining of high temperature industrial furnaces below 1800 ℃, such as high temperature furnace lining bricks in electronics and ceramics industries. It can also be used as the insulating layer of high and medium temperature processing equipment, which can greatly reduce the weight of the furnace, accelerate the furnace heating rate, reduce the ambient temperature of furnace, save fuel consumption and improve productivity.
