The problem of energy waste in industrial kilns has always existed, with heat loss generally accounting for about 22% to 24% of fuel consumption. The insulation work of kilns is receiving increasing attention. Energy saving is in line with the current trend of environmental protection and resource conservation, following the path of sustainable development, and can bring tangible benefits to industry. Therefore, refractory insulation material has rapid development and has been widely used in industrial kilns and high-temperature equipment industries.
1.Insulation of glass kiln bottom
Insulation of glass kiln bottom can raise the temperature of the glass liquid at the bottom of kiln and increase the flow of the glass liquid. The common construction method for the insulation layer at the bottom of glass kilns is to build additional insulation layer outside the heavy refractory brick masonry or heavy unshaped refractory insulation material masonry.
The insulation materials at the bottom of the glass kiln are generally lightweight clay insulation bricks, fire-resistant clay bricks, asbestos boards, and other fire-resistant insulation materials.
Next issue, we will continue to introduce the refractory insulation materials used at the bottom and wall of the glass kiln. Stay tuned!
