In the industrial furnace structure, generally on the back of the refractory material that is in direct contact with high temperature, there is a layer of thermal insulation material.(Sometimes the thermal insulation material also directly contact with high temperature.) This layer of thermal insulation material can reduce the heat loss of the furnace body and improve thermal efficiency. At the same time, it can reduce the temperature outside the furnace body and improve the surrounding working condition of furnace.
In industrial insulation, thermal insulation material can be classified into 3 types: pores, fibers and particles. In practical applications, the same insulation material is also divided into fire-resistant and heat-insulating according to whether it is directly exposed to high-temperature environments.
