This issue we continue to introduce the classification of thermal insulation material used in furnace construction. Please stay tuned!
1. Refractory lightweight materials. Lightweight refractory materials mostly refer to refractory materials with high porosity, low bulk density, low thermal conductivity and can withstand a certain temperature and load.
1) Porous lightweight refractories. Common porous light-weight thermal insulation material mainly include: alumina bubbles and its products, zirconia bubbles and its products, high-alumina poly light bricks, mullite thermal insulation bricks, lightweight clay bricks, diatomite thermal insulation bricks , lightweight silica bricks, etc.
2)Fibrous thermal insulation material. Common fibrous thermal insulation material mainly include: various grades of ceramic fiber wool and its products.
2. Heat insulating lightweight material. Insulation lightweight materials are relative to refractory lightweight materials, which mainly play the role of heat insulation in terms of functions. It is often used on the back of the refractory material to block the heat dissipation of the furnace and protect the supporting steel structure of the furnace body. The heat insulating lightweight materials can be slag wool, silicon-calcium board and various heat insulation boards.
